The GEM Leadership Development Institute selectively identifies medium to high-risk inmates who not only want to change their lives to become healthy, productive, and law-abiding citizens but, in alignment with our recruitment strategy, training curriculum, and program outcomes, are committed to helping other at-risk adults or juveniles and their families lead successful lives in their communities.
In order to accomplish this ambitious goal in the most efficient and effective manner possible, the GEM LDI provides specialized training, targeted incentives and customized support to its “Interns” (program participants) as they work toward creating a personal mission and vision, identify their natural gifts and potential strengths, and develop a long-term plan for personal, family, community and career success.
